the Splendor Proposition

By

There is a room in house with a window on the far corner. The window, which is floor lengths is drapped by curtains and overlooks the gardens. At the window a lone figure stands, poised and absolute; wealthy and powerful perhaps, but this is confidence. Years standing aloft the peak of luxury of unrivaled success. Here is the epitome of splendor. Here he ponders the next move. And the word awaits to move too, in a dance of bold purpose.

This diorama features an elegant gentleman richly clothed sipping from a short glass of light colored liquid. Reminiscent of the gilded age when titans managed whole industries, creating along the way. This resemblance draws upon memories of such a time but reflects something contemporary. The inertia that exists in all of us. To polish a dirty shoe, to fasten a wayward button. It is the feeling of greatness to be closer to the best of ourselves and those around us. A world that enriches us and cultivates our strengths when we reach for it.
This is the splendor proposition.
